Providence Logbook Jul 6, 1793

Remarks Saturday 6th July 1793 Towards England

 1 pm: Fine Weather

 2 pm: Sent the Cutter for Lieut. Portlock

 3 pm: People employed Washing and mending Cloathes.

 5 pm: Exercised Great Guns

 7 pm: Lieut. Portlock returned on board.

10 pm: A little Squally

12 mid: Fine Night

 5 am: Bent the Old Top Gallant Sails. Saw Flying Fish and Gulph Weed

 7 am: Served thick Portable Soup Gruel for breakfast as usual, Krout for Dinner

10 am: Washed Ship and Aired with Fires. Exercised Great Guns and Small Arms

12 noon: Fair and pleasant, and for the first day since we left the Gulph, hazy. Royals and all Sails set
 Assistant and Ship in Company as Yesterday
