Providence Logbook Jan 16, 1793

Remarks Wednesday 16th January 1793 Towards [St. Vincents]

 1 pm: Strong Trade and fine Weather with Haze.

 2 pm: Flying Fish seen

 5 pm: Let fresh Water into the Ship and worked the Pumps.

 5 am: Cloudy Weather with much Haze.

 6 am: Served thick Portable Soup Gruel for Breakfast. Portable Soup in the Pease for Dinner and Sour Krout as usual.

 9 am: Cleaned below and aired with Fires. Sailmakers repairing Sails and Hands making mats and about the Rigging.

10 am: Exercised Great Guns and small Arms and Fired.

12 noon: Fine Weather and Hazy.
   Assistant in Company.
