Providence Logbook Dec 7, 1792

Remarks Friday 7th December 1792 [Round the] Cape Good Hope

 1 pm: Fair Weather and Cloudy with a fresh Breeze.

 2 pm: Porpoises and Oceanic Birds.

 5 pm: Worked the Pumps as usual.

11 pm: Obliged to shorten Sail at times for the Assistant to keep up with us.

 1 am: Porpoises

 6 am: Served Hot Breakfast as usual.

 7 am: Cloudy Weather but got a set of Lunar Observations.

 9 am: Employed as Yesterday.

10 am: Served Portable Soup in the Pease for Dinner.

12 noon: Fresh Gales and Hazy. Obliged to shorted Sail for the Assistant.
