 8 am: Served Hot Breakfast as usual. Portable Soup in the Pease for Dinner, Krout as usual.

 9 am: Washed and dried below with fires. Carpenters Caulking Quick Work. Hands Picking Oakum. Sailmakers repairing the Jibb.

11 am: Exercised Small Arms. Saw Albetrosses.

12 noon: Calm and fair Weather Great Swell from the Westward, Ship rolling at times very deep.
