Providence Logbook Jan 19, 1792

Remarks Thursday 19th January 1792 Towards Van [Diemans Land]

 1 pm: Fair Weather. Opened a Cask of Pork No. 1102 Contents 120 Double peices —

 6 pm: Let fresh Water into the Ship and worked the pumps as usual–

 7 pm: I now gave orded [orders] that no Man was to be permitted on Deck after Sun down without having his Flannel Cloaths on.

12 mid: Fine Night and a very heavy Dew

 4 am: Drizling Rain & thick Weather

 8 am: Fresh Breezes and Cloudy Weather. Cleaned and Aired Ship with Fires. Exercised Boats Crews at Small Arms. Served Sour Krout, Sweet Wort.

12 noon: Fresh Breezes and Fair Weather. Studding Sails and all Sails Set.
