 1 pm: Fresh Breezes and Hazy Weather

 2 pm: Squally in 2nd Reefs

 4 pm: Out Reefs. Saw several Whales

 2 am: Tacked. near the Isle of Sal

 6 am: Saw the land SSW

 8 am: lat part of the Isle of Sal S9E North Mountain S13½W and the Westermost part in Sight S17½W. Off Shore 5 Leagues altitudes taken

10 am: Cleaned below

12 pm: Ditto Weather. The North Mountain of the Isle of Sal S85°E The Center one S74°E & the West one S35°E off Shore 5 Miles. A Vessel at anchor in the Road S58E about 6 Miles
