Remarks Wednesday 3rd August 1791

 1 pm: Moderate Breezes and fair Weather. Weighed and Sailed. The Assistant in Company.

 2 pm: At ½ past 2 passed over the Princesse Shoal within ½ Cables length of the white Buoy and had ¼ less 5 fathoms.

 4 pm: St. Catherines Point NW½N. 2 Leagues.

 6 pm: Fresh Gales down Top Gallant Yards Dunnose NbW 5 Leagues

 8 pm: High land of St. Caherines NNE½E off Shore 5 Leagues.

11 pm: Fair Weather.

 4 am: The Needle point NEbN 7 or 8 Leagues

 6 am: Portland NbW 8 or 9 Leagues

 8 am: Employed cleaning & regulating necessary duties of the Ship

10 am: At 20h..14′ longitude by X Time Keeper 2°..5′..36″ West

12 pm: Fair Weather. St. Albans Head NNE¾E 16 Miles and Bill of Portland NbW¾W 20 Miles. Several Sail in sight.
 Assistant in Company.
