The Manglecito visitors site consists of two areas to visit: the mangroves and the beach. The mangrove area is an ideal place for the interpretation and observation of aquatic birds, while the beach area has been used as a place of recreation. 

The characteristic vegetation at the beach is sesubium edmonstonei, and the button mangrove. In the mangrove area there is a lagoon, it constitutes an ideal place to observe species such as White-cheeked Pintail ducks, Common

The presence of a rocky projection at one end of the beach makes ideal waves for surfing.

• Recommend to visitors when they arrive at the lagoon, not to make noises that frighten the birds present there.
